PURPOSE:To enable digital dubbing for two different sampled frequency data by dividing two different types of sampled frequencies into a common value and inherent value and assigning the inherent value, and to one of actual designing conditions and the common value to the remaining conditions, respectively. CONSTITUTION:For example, a synchronizing code for identifying one frame and an error detecting code consisting of CRC codes are added to data of six words and an error correcting signal of two words to set the resulting codes to one frame. One track is formed with 320 frames for a sampled data series of 48kHz and 294 frames for that of 44.1kHz, respectively. The one track is arrayed on, for instance, an audio tape. When these 50 tracks are used, necessary audio signals for one second can be recorded and reproduced, and by simply increasing the redundancy of a magnetic tape by 26 frames without using a sampled frequency convertor, the same function as that of a sampled frequency convertor can be realized which is sufficiently useful for consumer appliances. |
