PURPOSE:To enable the originality of a document to be constantly maintained to be favorable, by a method wherein a paper of a desired size is fed to a printing part of an electronic printer on the basis of size information and conditions detected by each sensor. CONSTITUTION:Size information for a paper size corresponding to document information inputted to the electronic printer is added to the document information. A main body of the printer is provided with a plurality of paper trays 11, 12 for containing papers of plural sizes on a size basis, and the trays 11, 12 are provided respectively with sensors 13, 14 for detecting the size of the paper contained in the corresponding tray. When it is detected by the sensor 13, 14 that the paper of the size designated by the inputted size information is set on the printer, the paper of said size is fed to the printing mechanism part 17. Accordingly, only the paper of the size appropriate for the document information inputted to the printer is selectively fed, and therefore, the document printed out maintains the favorable originality thereof. |
