PURPOSE:To pick up a gas including SO3 efficiently, by including halogenated pitassium salt or the like in a honeycomb shaped molding, and using it. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas 1 is introduced to a sampling tube 2, which is arranged in a flue 10 as a sampling gas. Part of the gas is guided to an analyzer 7 through a honeycomb shaped molding 3, on which halogenated potassium or the like is carried. The remaining part is guided to another analyzer 5 through a sampling tube 4. When the exhaust gas passes the molding 3, SO3 included in the gas reacts with the halogenated potassium or the like carried on the molding 3 and yields halogenated hydrogen. At this time, when the temperature of the exhausted gas is lower than about 300-400 deg.C, the gas temperature is increased by a heater 6. The concentration of the SO3 included in the exhausted gas 1 can be obtained from the difference between the measured values of the concentrations of the halogenated hydrogen, which are measured by the analyzers 7 and 5. |
