PURPOSE:To designate easily a part of a film not requiring transmission by crossing the eye field of a finder in interlocking with a converting range setting means setting an optional range of one picture-plane so as to be converted photoelectrically, and dividing the converting range and the non-converting range of a photoelectric conversion means in a visible way. CONSTITUTION:When the operator observes a picture on a focus glass 12 of a finder 1 and judges that the transmission of a half pattern is enough, an index 8a of an adjusting knob 8 has only to be matched to a small version of the transmission size 15. Then a reciprocating member 7 is operated together with the adjusting knob 8, the edge of a projected part 7c is matched to a part of 13cm of a display 12b, a shut screen 11 covers a half of the focus glass 12 together with the projected part 7c, and the part of picture not to be transmitted projected to the focus glass 12 is made invisible. Thus, only the picture of the left half observed on the focus glass 12 not covered by the shut screen 11 is transmitted in phototelegraphy.
