PURPOSE:To control securely the turning-on operation of electrostatic erasing lamps by connecting a load means having smaller impedance than the load impedance of an electrostatic charge removing device to the electrostatic charge removing device in parallel, and using it as the common load of a semiconductor switch for power source control. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic charge removing device 15 is connected to an AC current source 61 through a semiconductor relay 62, and a capacitor start type induction motor 21 as a load is connected to the device 15 in parallel and used as the common load of a thyristor 67. A semiconductor relay 62 operates a light emitting circuit 64 with a control signal inputted from an input terminal 63 to send an on/off signal to a photodetecting circuit 65, and thus the bilateral thyristor 67 as a semiconductor switch is turned on and off through a suppressing circuit 66 for non-zero-voltage ignition to perform securely turn-on control over a fluorescent glow lamp 32 through primary winding 68 of the motor 21 having smaller impedance than the impedance of the device 15. |
