PURPOSE:To enable the subculture process on a long cycle, by introducing a culture liquid into the culture vessel with a liquid injector in each subculture process, wherein a disposable injector is used as the liquid injector to assure the constant supply of fresh liquid. CONSTITUTION:In the subculture of the cell in the culture chamber 3, a set of liquid-supply units composed of 8 units 30a-30c containing the culture liquid is attached to the guide member 41, a liquid-pressurizing means 42 are set, and the culture chamber 3 is sterilized with EOG or ultraviolet rays. All the linear motors 46-48 are driven slightly to apply a pressure to the liquid of the liquid- supply units 30a-30c, and small amounts of the contents 36a-36c are discharged through the drain pipes 34a-34c to the liquid reservior 37. Thereafter, the objective culture vessel 52 is transferred to the liquid-supplying position, subjected to the subculture operation, and the content is diluted and pipetted to the new vessel 53. In the case of the subsequent subculture operation, the former liquid-supply unit is removed, and a set of new liquid supply units containing fresh liquid are attached.
