PURPOSE:To form a fiber reinforced plastic tubular body so as to make a wall thickness per one layer uniform in the axial direction without cutting a reinforcing fiber, by winding axial direction roving and circumferential direction roving around the arbitrary part of a mandrel over a required range while simultaneously arranging both rovings, and simultaneously reciprocating the same in both directions. CONSTITUTION:At first, two circumferential direction winders 2, 3 are rotated, while a mandrel is moved to the axial direction thereof, to form a first layer having rovings arranged in the circumferential direction and the rovings of a second layer are arranged in the axial direction while the rovings of a third layer in the circumferential direction. When winding operation is finished in this order until reaches the terminal of the mandrel, the mandrel is moved to the reverse direction to again arrange rovings in the order of the circumferential direction, the axial direction and the circumferential direction. After roving are reciprocated predetermined times over the entire length of the mandrel, the mandrel is moved to a necessary range from the terminal thereof and reciprocated predetermined times in this range to form a reinforcing layer having a uniform thickness. After the above mentioned winding work is completed, a polyester film is wound around the entire surface of the reinforcing layer and, after the resin is cured in a curing oven, demolding is performed to obtain the desired product. |
