PURPOSE:To attain large-scale circuit integration by providing a conductor plate to a transfer side and a transferred side through capacitance coupling corresponding to each other and controlling the capacitance between the conductor plates with a transfer data to convert the capacitance change into a data signal and reduce the power consumption of a drive system. CONSTITUTION:The conductor plates 15, 16 and 20, 21 coupled through capacitors 14, 24 and capacitances C1, C2 are provided respectively to the transfer side unit 1 and the transferred side unit 2 in the contactless data transfer system. Moreover, an inverter circuit comprising MOS transistors (TRs) 11, 12 and a switching circuit comprising a TR13 are provided to the input side of the unit 1 and an output of the TR13 is fed across the capacitor 14. Furthermore, an oscillation circuit 30 is connected in parallel with the capacitor 24 of the unit 2. Then the capacitance of the capacitors C1, C2 between the conductor plates 14, 24 is changed by the data input to the unit 1 and the capacitance change changes the oscillating frequency of the circuit 30. The frequency change is detected by a frequency detecting circuit 23 to output the original data signal. |
