<p>Apparatus for radiary keratotomy. A support (1) presenting a reference surface (3) susceptible of assuming the shape of the cornea (2a) of an eye (2) and in which open slots (19) arranged according to planes including an axis (4) susceptible of coinciding with the optical axis (105), carries blades (22) which are each associated to a respective slot (19), and means for simultaneously activating the assembly of blades (22) with a close up or removal motion with respect to the axis (4) in the associated slots (19); the blades (22) which are projecting with respect to the reference surface (3) incises simultaneously the cornea (2a) which is conveniently pressed pneumatically against the reference surface (3). The set of incisions are simultaneously and rapidly made, and the blades operate in identical conditions so that the incisions present reproducible geometrical characteristics and the risks of perforating the cornea are reduced.</p> |
