PURPOSE:To mount capacitors having capacitance values optimum at every product by forming a plurality of capacitors in parallel, leaving required capacitors and detaching other capacitors from a circuit. CONSTITUTION:In a circuit in which data D are read to a circuit A by a clock phi, and processed and the result of processing is transmitted over a circuit B, the processed data are read to the circuit B by a clock slightly delayed from phi processed by a delay circuit E. Retardation time in the circuit E is determined by inverters I1, I2 and capacitors C1-C4, but circuit characteristics are measured in operation confirming and circuit characteristics tests, the optimum capacitance values of the capacitors are computed by a computer, necessary capacitors are left, and other capacitors are detached from the circuit. The timing of internal clocks can be controlled at every product, and a semiconductor integrated circuit having high performance can be manufactured with high yield. |
