PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition containing a cationic surface active agent, a hydrophobic silicone, and a keratin derivative, and effective to improve the smoothness of the hair and prevent the dry hair. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains (A) a cationic surface active agent such as those based on quaternary ammonium salt, amino acid, etc., (B) a hydrophobic silicone having a solubility of <=1wt% in water at 25 deg.C and a viscosity of 1-1,000cst at 25 deg.C (e.g. methylpolysiloxane, polysiloxane modified with fatty acid etc.) and (C) a keratin derivative selected from the derivative of decomposed keratin and a cationized keratin compound derivative. The amount of each component is preferably 0.1-10wt% for rinsing-type hair treatment composition and 0.01-3wt% for non-rinsing composition. |
