PURPOSE:To prevent omission of data, by circularly designating traced data files in a prescribed order whenever a phenomenon occurs and dispersively recording the data in traced data files of different direct access storage devices. CONSTITUTION:In a traced data recording and processing section 3 which records phenomena data occurring in time series in traced data files 9-1-9-n which are respectively installed to each of plural direct access storage devices (DASD) 8-1-8-n, each file 9-1-9-n is registered in a traced data file managing table 6 and each file can be designated successively by means of a pointer 6a which circulates by advancing by one step whenever a phenomenon occurs. Data collected by a phenomenon data collecting function 4 are recorded by a traced data recording function 7 in a file selected by a traced data file selecting function 5 by referring to the table 6 in accordance with the designation of the pointer 6a. |
