The invention relates to an adaptor (45) for a circuit board tester, by means of which test contacts located in the matrix can be connected to test points, located in and/or outside the matrix, of a circuit board to be tested by means of adaptor means (55 to 58), comprising a first and a second guide plate (46, 48) which are arranged parallel to one another and at a distance (m) from one another and exhibit guide holes (47, 49) for the adaptor pins (55 to 58) into which the adaptor pins (55-58) can be plugged, the guide holes (47) in a first guide plate (47) being arranged in the matrix and those in the second guide plate (48) being arranged in the pattern of the test points of the circuit board to be tested. The purpose of the invention is to design the adaptor in such a manner that mutual contact between adaptor pins (55-58) is impossible even with manual assembly and ease of movement of adaptor pins (55-58) is ensured. This is achieved by the fact that the first guide plate (46) exhibits guide holes (47) at all matrix points, that the distance (m) of the guide plates (46, 48) between one another can be varied between an assembly position and a working position and that a certain limitation of the deflection angle (k1) of the adaptor pins (55-58) is predetermined. <IMAGE>
