PURPOSE:To eliminate the effect of the errors of thermometers, by obtaining the first measured value by measuring the temperature of hot water before and after the heat radiation of one tank with the first and second thermometers, and obtaining the second measured value by measuring both temperature of the other tank by the second and first thermometers. CONSTITUTION:The end part of a hot water feeding pipe 10 is connected to a first hose 12, which is connected to an upper tank 5a, through a first three-way valve 11. The end part of a hot water discharge pipe 13 is connected to a second hose 15, which is connected to a lower tank 5b, through a second three-way valve 14. One end of each of first and second bypass pipes 16 and 17 is connected to each of the valves 11 and 14. The other ends of the pipes 16 and 17 are connected to the intermediate parts of the hose 15 and 12. The temperatures T1 and T2 of hot water before and after the heat radiation of the tank 5a are measured and the first measured value Q1 of the amount of heat radiation is obtained. The valves 11 and 14 are switched, the temperatures T1 and T2 of the hot water before and after the heat radiation of the tank 5b are measured, and the second measured value Q2 is obtained. The half of sum of the values Q1 and Q2 is obtained as the true amount of heat radiation. |
