摘要 PURPOSE:To broaden the selection range of discharge energy by charging a main capacitor with current induced on the secondary side of a transformer or a reactor when an exciting current is cut off. CONSTITUTION:When a switching element Q conducts, a fixed DC voltage is applied on the primary side of a transformer Tr and as current on the primary side increases gradually, magnetic energy is accumulated in the core of the transformer Tr in proportion to the square of the current. Then, after a fixed time determined as desired or after the fixed current value is reached, when the switching element Q is cut off an electromotive force is generated on the secondary side of the transformer Tr by induction to charge a capacitor C therewith. Here, when the capacitor capacitance is represented by C and magnetic energy B, the charged voltage V of the capacitor C is given by V=(2XB/C)<1/2> and the voltage V is determined without being restricted by the voltage of a DC power source DC. Thus, the condition of spark discharge can be selected in a wide range as desired thereby improving the analyzing accuracy with the selection of optimum discharge condition corresponding to a sample.
