PURPOSE:To simplify cancelling operation by adding a transaction serial number to a detail sheet and a total monetary amount, registering the result, inputting the transaction serial number and the total monetary amount at cancelling operation, collating the registered total monetary amount corresponding to the transaction serial number and cancelling the result. CONSTITUTION:A commodity number and monetary amount are inputted from a keyboard 1 at each sales commodity, a main controller 4 operates the total sum of the detailed monetary amount by depressing the total key and obtains the total amount of money and writes the total amount of money to a storage device 5 while adding a transaction serial number. In cancelling the registered data, the cancelling key of the keyboard 1 is depressed, then the operator number and the transaction serial number of data to be cancelled are inputted, and then the total amount of money is inputted. Thus, the total amount of money corresponding to the transaction serial number is read from a registering storage device 8, and when the said total amount of money and the total amount of money inputted at the cancelling are coincident, a center 7 erases the registered data corresponding to the transaction serial number of the registering storage device 8. |
