PURPOSE:To mount many tools without interference thus to reduce time required for replacement of tool by holding tools on a chain fed from an auxiliary magazine to a tool magazine on a holding table while matching with the head hole in holding table at the bent section of chain. CONSTITUTION:During working, the tool holding table 2 is retreated in the direction B to rotate the sprocket of tool magazine thus to position the tool mounted on the chain at the indexing position corresponding with the head hole 3 in the holding table 2. Upon matching of the tool and the head hole 3, crank pin rod 29 is retreated in the direction D to project said table 2 in the direction A to insert the tool head 35 into the head hole 3 thus to prepare working. When proper working can not be performed only with the tool in magazine, the tool is replaced by means of a tool replacing means such as ATC system provided between the magazine and auxiliary magazine to shorten the time required for replacement. |
