In a recording and/or reproducing apparatus for use with a record carrier in the form of a tape, which apparatus comprises at least one rotatable magnetic head, said head is mounted on a support whose hub comprises at least one tubular portion which, in order to secure to the support onto a shaft, can be clamped onto said shaft by means of a clamping device. The clamping device comprises three clamping jaws which are force-coupled to each other and which engage the tubular portion at locations which are spaced circumferentially of the shaft at an angular distance of 120.degree. from each other substantially in one plane perpendicular to the shaft, the clumping surface of at least one clamping jaw being adjustable by means of an adjusting device in a direction which is substantially perpendicular to the shaft axis, in order to form the clamping connection.
