PURPOSE:To effectively process an end surface of a material by making a material supporting device to support the material and supplying the materials in succession to a material processing device disposed perpendicularly to a material advancing direction. CONSTITUTION:A material W is rolled and supplied from the upper part, held between a V-shaped block 37a and an inclined block 39a by operating holding cylinders 41a, 41b, brought into close contact with a stopper 51a or 51b by moving a material supporting device 21, and positioned and fixed after checking said state by a proximity sensor 55a or 55b. The material supporting device 21 moves in itself in a material advancing direction, while it moves in a direction of Y by a table 19. And, it is successively subject to processings in the order of milling machines 15a and 15b, drilling devices 17b, 17a for processing an end surface of the material. With completion of the processings, the material is thrusted out by an extrusion cylinder 23 and conveyed onto a conveying device 25. It is possible in such a way to effectively process an end surface of a material. |
