PURPOSE:To prevent cavitation erosion from occurring over the whole operation range, by letting a high pressure passage of an injection oil passage branch off, and inter-connecting them to a leaked oil passage leading from a nozzle body via a check valve, in case of a fuel injection valve for a Diesel engine. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection valve for a Diesel engine is constituted of a nozzle holder 1, a nozzle body 2, a nozzle nut 3, a joint 4 or a setting part for a fuel high pressure pipe to be coupled with an unillustrated fuel-injection pump, a cap 5 to be coupled with an unillustrated manifold, etc. And, an inflow port 14 being throttled via a check valve 13 consisting of a cone or a ball is installed in position between a nozzle spring chamber 12 or a leaked oil passage and an injection oil passage 11 feeding fuel to the nozzle body 2 from the joint 4. On the other hand, the check valve 13 is so constituted as to open as well as to cause fuel in the chamber 12, namely, fuel return oil to flow in when the injection oil passage 11 comes to low pressure. |
