PURPOSE:To obtain a composition having high flame retardance and hydrogen sulfide resistance, by compounding a polyvinyl chloride resin containing a plasticizer with a mixed flame retardant comprising a metal borate compound and a metal hydroxide, a halogen-containing organic flame retardant, and stabilizers containing a zinc compound, a Ca compound and a Ba compound. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.(wt.) of a polyvinyl chloride resin is compounded with (B) 20-100pts. of a mixed flame retardant comprising a metal borate compound and a metal hydroxide, (C) 10-50pts. of a halogen-containing flame retardant, (D) 2-10pts. of a stabilizer comprising a zinc compound, a calcium compound or a barium compound or their mixture, and (E) 30-80pts. of a plasticizer. The component B is a mixture of 1pt. of a metal borate compound with 0.5-1.5pts. of a metal hydroxide.
