PURPOSE:To recover a large amt. of converter waste gas contg. CO in high concn. by controlling the flow rate of the waste gas. CONSTITUTION:A titled control device is constituted of an arithmetic part 23 for estimating the amt. of the gas generated in a converter 1 which determines the assigned value of the amt. of the gas generated in the converter from information in a main raw material as an initial value and the momentary information of auxiliary raw materials and the information on a lance, an arithmetic part 24 for the actual amt. of the gas generated in the converter which determines the actual value of the amt. of the gas generated in the converter from the flow rate and compsn. of the waste gas flowing in a duct 3, a means 25 for predicting and calculating the amt. of the gas generated in the furnace which calculates the statistical nature of the deviation time series between the estimated value and actual value of the above-mentioned two arithmetic parts from the time series up to the latest point of the time of the actual value, predicts the deviation at the predicted point of the time from the resultant statistical nature of the deviation time series and corrects the estimated value of the amt. of the gas generated in the converter at the predicted point of the time and an arithmetic part 26 for the set value of the optimum inside pressure in the converter which determines the set value of the optimum pressure in the converter from the predicted value of the amt. of the gas generated in the converter, the optimum amt. of the air to be intruded and the height of a skirt 5 based on the pressure balance in the furnace port. |
