PURPOSE:To obtain a V-belt with the minimum item number of parts required and excellent in power transmission factor by chaining piece members to form an endless V-blet. CONSTITUTION:As each piece member 1 in contact with the taper groove of a pulley, taper surfaces 10 are provided on both the left and right sides to form an equal-leg trapezoidal contact base. The first and second link arms 13, 16 are protruded back to back on both taper surfaces 10, both link arms 13, 16 have predetermined thicknesses respectively, they are bored with a through hole for a connecting pin 2 in the thickness direction, and the first and second link arms 13, 16 are connected by the connecting pin 2. Accordingly, the item number of parts used is only two to three including the piece members and the connecting pins chaining them, thereby the assembly and mass production feature is excellent, the contact area per piece member with a V-groove pulley 3 is increased, thus the power transmission factor is improved. |
