PURPOSE:To perform simultaneously welding at two points and to improve working efficiency by fixing one of two welding heads to a receiving base to be attached to the top end of the movable part of a welding robot and fixing freely movably back and forth the other. CONSTITUTION:A welding head on a stationary side and welding head 12 on a movable side are positioned in the state of superposing the chips of both heads on each other and welding is performed in the case of welding simultaneously two points by using the two welding heads. The arm of a welding robot is attached to a bracket 10 and spot welding is accomplished simultaneously at two points in the prescribed positions of materials to be welded. A cylinder 23 for shifting a gun is actuated to retreat the head 12 on the movable side in the case of performing spot welding by using the welding head 4 on the stationary side. |
