PURPOSE:To maintain the constant momentum of an inner wire, by a method wherein elongation of a wire is corrected each time the wire itself is moved in the pushing direction. CONSTITUTION:During pulling of an inner wire 4, a roller 38 engages in a cut- in manner into a gap between a chuck surface 34 and the outer peripheral surface of an actuating shaft 30 in linkage with the actuating shaft 30, and the inner wires 4 on both sides are coupled together in a single linear form. When stretching of the wire occurs each time the inner wire 4 is moved in the pushing direction, the roller 38 repeats, in response to the actuating shaft 30, a motion, in which it is disengaged from the engaging condition prevailing during pulling, and a motion restoring to its original engaging state, and the actuating shaft 30 enters deep in an introducing hole 33 by a distance equal to the elongation of the inner wire 4 during disengagement of the roller 38 during such repetition, and this corrects elongation of the inner wire 4. |
