MEDICAL RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:A transparent resin composition suitable for medical components such as liquid and blood transfusion sets, obtained by compounding an ethylene-alpha- olefin copolymer with a propylene-alpha-olefin copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The composition comprising 60-99pts.wt. propylene-alpha-olefin copolymer and 40-1pts.wt. ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer. The alpha-olefin of the propylene-alpha-olefin copolymer is preferably ethylene or butene-1. This copolymer shall contain 10-60mol% alpha-olefin, preferably 15-40mol% ethylene or 15-35mol% 4C or higher alpha-olefin. The alpha-olefin of the ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer is preferably butene-1.
