PURPOSE:To manufacture sockets and adjuster nuts simply and at a low cost, by a method wherein a socket, mating with the head of an adjuster screw, and an adjuster nut, engaged outwardly with said screw, are produced through cutting, throttling, and squeezing of a pipe. CONSTITUTION:A socket 23', having the one end engaged with a head part 21a of an adjuster screw 21, is formed by a cylindrical pipe. In order to mount the other end of the socket 23' to a web 8a, a projection 8c, projecting internally of the socket, is formed on the web 8a, and is fitted in the other end of the socket 23'. An adjuster nut 22', mating outwardly with the adjuster screw 21, is also formed by a cylindrical pipe. A female screw part, engaged externally with the adjuster screw 21, is formed by throttling, and the end, mounted to a projection 7c of the web 7a, is squeezed to form a flat hole. This enables simple and inexpensive manufacturing of the socket 23' and the adjuster nut 22' in a way that a pipe is cut, throttled, and squeezed. |
