摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the amplification and oscillation effect of high efficiency over a near UV to near IR region by adding a material having fluorescence to a polymer contg. at least one kind of halogen and deuterium. CONSTITUTION:The material having the fluorescence is added to the polymer contg. at least one kind of the halogen and deuterium. This polymer is formed by halogenating or deuterating the hydrogen of a side chain. The polymer is, therefore, small in the higher harmonic wave light absorption between the carbon and the hydrogen existing in the near IR region and is subjected to long wavelength shifting, by which the loss of the material itself is lowered. The high-efficiency operation is executed in the visible to near IR region in this way. The oscillation and amplification functions of the good efficiency are exhibited even in the wavelength region of particularly 1 to 1.6 mum where the conventional plastic optical elements are not practicable at all.
