The slicing board for vegetables consists of a base(5) with side strips(3). Cutting blades(6) for slicing are mounted at an angle across the base to improve the cutting action. The cutting blades are made from strip metal. The blades are sectioned so, that the cutting edges point upwards at a slight angles and the cutting edges are just above the face of the board. The rear edge of the blade is bent down at right angles to prevent the blades bein bent when a vegetable is pressed on them. |
