Riboflavin phosphoric acid ester is obtained by reacting riboflavin with a phosphorylating agent in a medium comprising tetramethylene sulphone. The phosphorylating agent may be phosphorus oxychloride, chlorophosphoric acid or a mixture of phosphorus oxychloride and orthophosphoric acid. Examples are given. |
