PURPOSE:To reduce the electric power and the size of a linear motor and to increase the holding force of a displacement by providing an oblique teeth on the vibrating surface of a strong piezoelectric tuning fork or bendable piece, and sliding a movable rod which perpendicularly crosses the vibrating surface. CONSTITUTION:The tone piece 1 of a tuning fork has a pair of arms and a support, polarized piezoelectric vibrators 2, 3 with electrodes are directed reversely in the polarization and engaged with slots formed at the roots of the arms in the state a terminal board 4 is interposed therebetween. Several pieces of bent teeth 7 are provided at the end of the piece 1. A movable rod 8 is inserted between the teeth 7, and when an AC voltage is applied between the terminal 5 of the board 4 and the terminal 6 of the support, the rod 8 is moved. |
