PURPOSE:To directly apply high voltage pulses and high voltage rectified waves to the final anode of an electron gun at high voltage treatment by electrically connecting the final anode of the electron gun and a high voltage terminal through semiconductor ceramics. CONSTITUTION:A metal body 10 racked from the final anode 4 of an electron gun is arranged up to a high voltage terminal 1, inserting semiconductor ceramics 11 in an intermediate section and not making contact to an internal high resistance conductive film 2. For example, suppose that a direct heat type sudden change thermistor is used as an element that suddenly reduces electric resistance at 70-80 deg.C is used as the semiconductor ceramics. When spark discharge is generated by setting the high voltage terminal to an anode and a stem pin to a cathode, and continuously applying 70kV DC high voltage is generated through a 1MOMEGA, a self-heat generation is generated by the supplied current of the ceramics itself and electric resistance is suddenly reduced. In this case, the resistance value is exceedingly low, as compared with the resistance value of an internal high resistance conductive film and the high pressure terminal are jumpered. As a result, a fully high voltage energy is transferred to the final anode. |
