According to the invention, a vertical adjustability of these mirrors is aimed at, specifically in such a way that displacements and vibrations can be largely prevented. For this purpose, according to the invention the body of the mirror is vertically adjustably mounted by means of two rockers, specifically by means of two parallel or two trapezoidal rockers. These rockers can be held themselves by means of ball-and-socket joints; additionally the rockers can be adjusted in such a way that the body of the mirror can be moved towards either the right-hand or the left-hand front seat of the vehicle.
