A press device for shaping heel stiffeners (7) with thermoplastic properties consists of a male mould (1) and a female mould (2). The male mould (1) is designed in a convex manner, corresponding to the desired shape of the heel stiffener (7), the female mould (2) is designed in a correspondingly concave manner. In the region (8) in which the heel stiffener (7) is shaped with the greatest three-dimensional curvature, a partial piece of the press device (1, 2) is replaced with a correspondingly shaped piece (6) of elastic material, which projects over the surfaces adjacent to it of the press device (2). <IMAGE>
