PURPOSE:To aim at improvements in the durability of a collector for a long pulse motion, super-large power microwave tube, by widening a peripheral edge of each of root parts of plural pieces of radiators being radially installed outward with curvature or taper. CONSTITUTION:A peripheral edge of root parts of each radiator 4 is formed into such a structure as being widened outward with curvature R. A value of this R is proper, for example, in a range of 0.5-3mm., and with the presence of this 'R' part, abrupt mechanical discontinuity may no longer exist in a collector core so that stree concentration is made reducible. In this connecting, instead of this 'R', if the peripheral edge is widened outward with 'taper,' the same result is securable. |
