PURPOSE:To reduce remarkably a time required at address reconstitution by receiving a token from a communication medium, storing sequentially sender destination address included in the token and deciding an addressed address with this address. CONSTITUTION:The token on a transmission line 10 is received by a reception section 6 via a token transmission/reception circuit 1 and addressed address information 11 in the token is fed to a comparison section 7, whether an own address set in an address setting section 8 is coincident with the information 11 or not is checked. When they are not coincident, the reception of the token is awaited until they are coincident. When the address information is coincident, a control section 2 generates the token by using the lst address information stored in an address memory 5 as the addressed address and transmits the token to the transmission line 10 via a transmission section 9 and the circuit 1. When the transmitted token is received normally, a memory 5 is initialized and when the token received next is not addressed to the own address, sender destination address information 13 is written in the memory 5. This is repeated and the information 13 is written until the capacity of the memory 5 is occupied and the result is used as the destination address. |
