<p>A new chloro-hexidine salt is obtd. by reacting sorbic acid or its metal salt with a bis-guanidine deriv. to give 1,1'-hexamethylene (5-p-chlorophenyl) bi-guanidine of formula (I). The reaction is carried out in soln. with a small molar excess of sorbic acid or salt.</p> |
