PURPOSE:To automatically detect a neutral point by displacing a variable mechanism for controlling the squeeze capacity of a variable-capacity hydraulic pump in + and - directions to find a neutral point from the average of displacement of the variable mechanism when the discharge pressure of the hydraulic pump amounts to a set pressure. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic motor 11 is rotated forward and backward by oil pressure discharged from a double swash plate variable capacity hydraulic pump 1, and the hydraulic motor 11 is braked by a bake device 15. This arrangement further includes a displacement detector 4 for detecting the displacement of a swash plate 1a and a control device 9 for detecting the neutral point of the hydraulic pump 1. The conical device 9 operates the brake device 15 according to indication of a start device 10 and displaces the swash plate 1a in + and -directions once at least until each detected pressure of pressure detectors 8a, 8b is substantially equal to a preset pressure. At this time, the displacement values of the swash plate 1a are accumulated to take an average. |
