The filter is aromatised by means of microcapsules containing a aroma which can be released by crushing the microcapsules. These microcapsules are integrated into granules consisting of an agglomerate of microcapsules and of ballast and dispersed inside the filter. The microcapsules have a diameter of between 10 and 50 microns, whereas the granules have a diameter of between 0.3 and 2 mm. The ballast consists, for example, of infusorian earth.
