PURPOSE:To obtain information which is effective to an intermittent fault and enough to point out the fault, and to eliminate the need for special diagnostic data by incorporating a fault diagnosing function in fault processing to be started, and making a fault diagnosis as a process of the fault processing. CONSTITUTION:A fault when occurring to a CPU10 is detected by an error detecting circuit group 130 and a clock oscillating circuit 131 is stopped with a control signal to freeze the internal state of the CPU10 at the point of time. At the same time, a recovery controller 30 is informed of the error detection through an interface control circuit 133 with a control signal 124. The recovery controller 30 reads the contents of program-operated register groups 111-119 of the CPU through an interface 121. Then once the error is detected, it is judged from the contents of no-retrial indicator whether an instruction being executed by the CPU10 can be retried or not. When the indicator is off, the interrupted instruction can be retried, so the recovery controller 30 enters the instruction retrial control of the CPU10. |
