Apparatus permitting distribution of feed to animals in animal husbandry. The invention relates to a feeder apparatus for animals in animal husbandry (sheep, goats, cattle, pigs), permitting distribution of feed (granules or powder). The apparatus may be square, rectangular or round in form; it comprises a roof 1, a vessel 6 containing the feed; the latter descends into an adjustable trough 7. The feed is spread over the edges of the trough with the aid of a cone or pyramid 8. The apparatus rests on four legs 9. An adjustable bar 11 makes it possible to limit or spread access to the trough. Four removable fins 12 protect the trough from rain. The apparatus may be used in the meadow, in the sheepfold or in the cowshed, for animals of all sizes. <IMAGE>
