PURPOSE:To improve the processing capability of a store and forward exchange by providing a storage section of operating state information of terminal line and a bus between line control units, transferring a data via the bus between line control units, adding a number of a busy line to a busy line and storing it in a magnetic disc to decrease the number of times of access to the magnetic disc. CONSTITUTION:When multiple address communication from a terminal device A to terminal devices B-F is generated, a line control unit 4 connected to the terminal device A references the stored content of the terminal line operating state information storage section 14 and when the terminal devices B-F are all idle, the transmission data is transmitted to the terminal devices via the bus 13 between the line control units. If the terminal devices C and F are busy, the line number of the terminal devices C and F is added to the transmission data from the terminal device A, the result is transferred to the magnetic disc 12 and a central controller 8 via a channel interface unit 6 to store the said data to the magnetic disc 12. |
