<p>PURPOSE:To obtain prints of excellent quality by shortening the width of a subscanning direction of each heating element compared with that of a main scanning direction and composing a required picture element to be recorded into a thermal recording medium with printing by a heating element at plurally divided number. CONSTITUTION:After completion of the setting of a picture information, terminals C1 and S1 are electrically turned on so that dot resistors 1d, 2d, 5d, 6d, 9d, 10d, 13d, and 14d may be heated up. AND condition for NAND gates G0, G1, G2 is established, resulting in the conduction into NAND gates G0, G1, G2... of an electric current applied to diodes m1, m2, m4 and m6. Dot resistors 1d, 2d, 5d, 6d, 9d, 10d, 13d and 14d are heated up, reaching a prearranged temperature level for the formation of a color in a thermosensitized paper. If the recording by a dot resistor is finished, a shift register 20 is shifted one bit to the right and an output f1 is given an output from a flipflop F3d. With the shift action by one bit completed, terminal C1 is switched off and terminal C2 switched on, resulting in the heating of dot resistors 3d, 4d, 7d, 8d, 11d, 12d and 15d to a temperature level of forming a color in thermosensitized paper.</p> |
