PURPOSE:To make a fair copy of a broken line and an accurate fair copy of an arc by approximating a line on a drawing containing only a graphic by straight line strokes, finding and correcting connection relations, and extracting broken line elements, straight lines, arcs, broken lines in order and making a fair copy. CONSTITUTION:Only a pair of adjacent strokes of the same broken line which are less in the distance between stroke middle points than a specific value are converted on huff basis. Only when the angles theta1 and theta2 of the straight line obtained by said conversion to the strokes are smaller than a specific value, this pair is regarded as an effective pair. Then, 2X2 areas are colored as to a broked line with >=2 pairs in TABLE. Two arrays of strokes are considered except such a line that three strokes overlap one another to find the angles theta1 and theta2, and a stroke whose angle theta1 or theta2 is closer to 180 deg. is used. Strokes having intervals smaller than a specific value are considered to be on the same broken line, and the gaps are filled. Thus, one stroke group is obtained. |
