PURPOSE:To enable sharp color projection by adapting to a specified JIS standard the roughness of the surface, in contact with the air, of a color toner image formed on a transparent film. CONSTITUTION:A transparency copy obtained by forming a color toner image on a transparent film is projected with high fidelity without being affected on the light course by the roughness of the surface of the toner image in contact with the air when its ten data average surface roughness based on the method of JIS B 0601-1982 is controlled to 0.8Z. To adapt it to this standard, the level differences and gaps among the toner particles are filled with a proper material, and the toner layer is coated to eliminate the effects of its own forms, or their forms are changed by applying heat or pressure to fully bond the particles with each other, and thus the uppermost face of the toner layer is made sufficiently smoothed. For example, the toner image is coated with a transparent lacquer, or the toner image is covered with a transparent adhesive tape, or a transparent film is laminated on the toner image. |
