Optically readable coded card comprising a reflecting sheet on which is arranged a coating exhibiting code perforations in such a way as to produce reflecting areas, a card characterised in that the reflecting sheet 11 is protected at its surface and is designed in the form of a rigid support and the coating, in the form of a layer of ink, preferably printed. By virtue of the use of a reflecting sheet which is already protected against external influences and of the joining of the latter to a covering layer which is insensitive to external influences, in particular water resistant, it is possible to dispense with arranging the card inside a transparent pocket. <IMAGE>
