This is a conference table design for video conference studios arranged such that conference participants who are physically present at the conference table 1 can confer with participants located at other places via screens 9 under conditions which are as true to reality as possible, physiological and ergonomic aspects being taken into account, in particular, by the assignment of participant seats 5, conference table 1, monitors 8, 21 and video cameras 19 as well as a table continuation 15 connecting the latter. <IMAGE>
