<p>PURPOSE:To rationalize a process, to prevent corrosion, and to ensure good quality by adding a conductive substance to a material for forming an orienting film to form the orienting film, and forming a terminal part film made of the same material as it. Voltage drop due to electric double layers formed on an interface between the orienting film 6 and liquid crystals 8 is prevented, and the film 6 is not only stabilized but also an electrochemical reaction can be prevented against attachment of water by covering a terminal with the same film. As a result, since the orienting film 6 and the overcoat of the terminal 5 are executed at the same time, the process is rationalized and good quality can be obtained by preventing corrosion, etc.</p> |
