PURPOSE:To attain the reproduction of a disk at and after the position where the preceding reproduction is interrupted by controlling the reproduction start address of the disk loaded to a player which is freely set under a reproduction pause mode on the basis of the disk identification number as well as the reproduction interruption address recorded to a memory. CONSTITUTION:A reproduction mechanism 16 is controlled in response to the actuation of a control circuit 14 containing a CPU30, an RAM32, etc. in a function array 22 of an operation panel 10. Thus a reproduction pause of a player is performed. In case the reproduction is interrupted in a reproduction pause mode, both identification number and interruption address of a disk are written to the RAM32. Based on the contents of the RAM32, the mechanism 16 is controlled by the circuit 14 when the disk is loaded again. Then the reproduction is started from the stored address position when the coincidence is obtained between the identification signal of the loaded disk and the stored identification number and then from the first address position in other cases respectively. Thus the disk can be reproduced at and after the position where the preceding reproduction is interrupted. |
