PURPOSE:To inform properly the display of an access classification to a means which uses said access and to prevent the data destruction, etc., by using an error correction incapability detecting circuit when the access classification is informed to a main storage device block. CONSTITUTION:In case the access classification is informed to a main storage device block, the correction incapability of C-bit error is detected by an error correction incapability detecting circuit 24. In such a case, the majority logic output value of an error correction circuit 22 is transmitted with no replacement by the output signal of the circuit 24. At the same time, an FF29 is set and an error correction enable signal is sent to a CPU. Thus it is possible to prevent the generation of a fault such as the data destruction, etc. that is fatal to the security of a system without informing erroneously the C-bit information to the software. For C bits, an error correction enable signal is informed to the software and the job using a block received the information is finished. This can minimize the damage due to an error and improve the security of the system. |
